Commemorative coin issued by the Philippines to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Andrés Bonifacio, one of the most prominent figures of the Filipino independence movement and founder of the Katipunan. The obverse features his portrait in a sober and respectful style, surrounded by commemorative legends emphasizing his status as a national hero.
