Kitchen container - red copper, early 19th century - In excellent condition

Superb hammered red copper cauldron dating from the early part of the 19th century.
The handle of this piece is made of solid iron, supported on each side by a red copper plate fixed by two rivets also in red copper, which attests to very fine artisanal craftsmanship.
The lid handle is also in red copper, secured by two red copper rivets.
The inner diameter at the bottom of the cauldron is 30 centimeters, while the inner diameter of the top opening is 23 centimeters.
In excellent condition, no holes in the bottom of the cauldron or on the sides.
Gorgeous as a decoration, for example hung in a fireplace or on a tripod as, for instance, a flowerpot, but it can still be used for its primary function—that is, to use it for cooking.
