The photographs in this book have been captured over many years by the French photographer Bernard Plossu (1945). A very personal vision of different European countries, always in black and white, images that suggest and evoke, some taken from inside a moving car. Distant lights, chiaroscuro, the night, the cafés, the roads, the gazes. A poetic homage to the old continent co-edited with the Santander Foundation in 2016, the organizer of Cantabria’s bid to become European Capital of Culture.
