1972 Jaguar E-Type V12, 5.3 L, 270 hp, automatic transmission, petrol, Rosso, matching numbers and matching colours, located in Italy (Rome) with German registration papers, 84,189 miles.
Description from the seller
The bodywork is presented in very good condition. The color is its original. There is no rust either on the surface or through. There are no damages to report or repairs that have been carried out. The paint is marked in some spots, including the right door and a stain on the tailgate. It should be noted that the paint has developed some bubbles mainly on the roof area due to a plastic sheet that had been placed by the previous owner and that requires a light coat of paint to return to its original condition. All exterior components are sound and undamaged. The bumpers are both sound and without marks. The lower part of the vehicle has nothing to report. The underbody is very solid, and the area of the wheel arches and the recesses of the door panels is also very solid. The front headlights and surrounds are intact. On the rear right light there is damage to the glass. The doors close well and the seals of the sills, windows, and doors are very sound.
On the technical side, the engine starts immediately. The car runs very well and the automatic transmission does its job well. The car revs well and the engine has no leaks. In a road test the car showed excellent braking performance, although improved brake control is mandatory before it goes out on the road. There are no defects to report.
The upholstery is in excellent condition. The carpet is sound and there are no holes or tears. The seat leather has been renewed and is in excellent condition. The headliner is sound. The door panels are also intact and without tears. The dashboard is sound. It has no cuts and is in excellent condition. The entire dash is in good condition.
