A clear pressed glass vase signed in relief Val Saint Lambert, in the Art Deco style, dating to 1940–1950, with a height of 16 cm, top diameter 15.5 cm, base diameter 7.5 cm, and an approximate weight of 1.2 kg, made in Liège, Belgium.
Description from the seller
Lightly tinted, pressed-molded glass vase, signed in the mass Val Saint Lambert (raised relief mark typical of Belgian productions from the 1920s–1930s or the 1940s–1950s).
Features :
- Height: 16 cm
- Upper diameter: 15.5 cm
- Base diameter: 7.5 cm
- Weight: 1200 g
Shape: a short, flared vase with a slightly undulating, subtly scalloped rim, a slightly bulging cylindrical body, cut with vertical fluted motifs / deep channels (dense, regular fluting along the full height, producing a bright, structured effect). Stable base with discreet radial facets. High-quality clear glass, with intense reflections and perfect transparency.
Condition: excellent – brilliance and transparency intact, no chipping, splitting, cracks, or visible shine; no notable scratches, engraving neat and deep, original color and luster preserved.
Heavy, balanced, and elegant piece, signed in the mass by Val Saint Lambert, rare for its relatively high weight for its size and its precise vertical fluting (typical of utilitarian or decorative vases from the Belgian crystal works of the interwar or post-war period). Ideal for collectors of vintage Val Saint Lambert glassware, molded-cut glass, or enthusiasts of classic, functional ribbed vases.
Careful shipment.
