Set of 3 Vintage Japanese Deba Knives – Hand-Forged, Signed Blades

This is a rare set of three vintage traditional Japanese Deba knives, all signed (mei-iri) and made in Japan.
Each knife reflects the craftsmanship of its respective maker and was originally intended for professional fish preparation.

Knives included (from left to right)

1) “Hidesada” (秀貞作)

Blade inscription: 秀貞作 (Hidesada)

Ferrule label: “Made of Japanese Steel” (日本鋼製)

Handle branding: Burned stamp “Registered Hidesada” (登録秀貞)

2) “Kinboshi” (金星 手打 / Hand-forged)

Blade inscription: 金星

Handle branding: Burned stamp “Secret Technique – Kinboshi” (秘伝金星作)

Clearly marked as hand-forged (手打)

3) “Bishokuka” (美食家)

Blade inscription: 美食家

Handle label: Original Bishokuka label remains intact
