Limoges enamel signed R. Bétourné, 'sous bois' landscapes, circa 1960.
Beautiful Limoges enamel on copper, depicting an undergrowth woodland landscape in autumn colors, in a warm and luminous palette typical of Limoges production in the mid-20th century. The scene displays a lovely depth and a meticulous, painterly finish.

On the back, it bears its original label: R. Bétourné - Maître émailleur - Limoges, with handwritten number No. 1121 and the note "sous bois", confirming the subject and authenticity.

Authentic artwork, signed and identified, with a studio label on the back.
Frame in black pine, interior moulded and gilded surround, presented in a case that adds a nice visual depth.
Recent restoration on a corner that was previously damaged, good overall condition, nice colors, no chips/flakes visible, old frame restored and presentable, wear and scratches from use. See the photos—they are part of the description.
