Magnificent service set from the famous French silversmith Christofle, comprising a knife-rest set and a rare collectible item.
1. Set of 6 knife rests:
• Model: "Sully" (classic design with faceted ball ends).
Material: high-quality silver-colored metal.
• Markings: Each knife rest bears the Christofle balance marks (master mark).
• Condition: Very good overall condition. A beautiful patina is present; they can be polished to restore their original mirror-like shine.
• Presentation: Delivered in their original Christofle box (Empire Green color).
2. Collectible bottle opener (Rare):
• Description: Advertising and commemorative item made of silvered metal.
• Obverse: Profile portrait of Charles Christofle (1805-1863), founder of the house, with the inscription "Charles Christofle Orfèvre à Paris".
• Reverse: Mention "Fournisseur de l'Empereur" with a laurel wreath. Custom inscription for the historic point of sale: "Pavillon de Nice, 3 Place Masséna".
• Punches: Present on the upper part (handle).
