Refined 3-piece salon set in en cabriolet style dating from 1850–1900, made in walnut and beech with cream/gold damask upholstery, including a two-seat divan and two armchairs, in excellent condition with slight signs of wear, dimensions 150 cm wide, 50 cm deep, 40 cm high, seating height 40 cm, weight 40 kg, from France.

Elegant living-room set consisting of a two-seater sofa and two “en cabriolet” armchairs, a splendid example of cabinetmaking in the Louis XVI style (Napoleon III period). The set is distinguished by the exceptional state of preservation of both the wooden frame and the upholstery.
Technical and Artistic Details
Structure: Crafted from fine, finely carved precious wood, with fluted column legs and undulating arms that terminate in elegant rosette fittings.
Unique Pediments: The true distinguishing element of this set is the decoration of the backrests. Each piece features a hand-carved cresting with different allegorical motifs:
Divanetto: Decorated with an imposing arrangement of crossed quiver, arrows, and a torch, a symbol of love and triumph.
Armchairs: they feature variants with sheaves of wheat and laurel garlands, symbols of abundance and nobility.
Fabric: Upholstery in fine cream/gold damask with a laurel crown motif, perfectly taut and free of signs of wear.
Conditions: Excellent. The set is ready to be placed in a prestigious residence or in a private collection without the need for restoration work.
