Elegant 12-place service in 800 silver-plated, consisting of 78 pieces in total, with a finely chased classical decoration on the handle, typical of high-quality productions from the first half of the 20th century.
The set is complete, well preserved, and kept in its fabric roll.

Conditions

Overall good condition, with a uniform patina of time and normal signs of use compatible with age. It should be noted the need for a thorough polishing. The plating is uniform and still well preserved, with good brightness. No significant structural deformations detected.

The set is fully functional and fit for use, and is also suitable as a scenic service for mise en place in vintage style.

Technical note
The ARG 800 hallmark does not identify solid silver, but rather a base metal item plated with silver. The acronym “ARG” indicates the silvery nature of the object, while the number “800” refers to the fineness of the silver used for plating (800/1000), corresponding to 80% pure silver and 20% alloy metals.
