The red-ground field is shaped by a central medallion as well as richly branched floral and vine motifs. The high-contrast border with floral elements harmoniously encloses the field and gives the rug a traditional, high-quality appearance. The color combination of red, cream, blue, and fine accent colors emphasizes the classical character of this piece.
