Pair of oval wall mirrors in antique Rococo style with gilded plaster and resin frames, produced in Europe, dimensions external 26 x 18 cm and internal 16.5 x 11.5 cm, in good used condition with minor wear and patina dating from 1930–1940.
Description from the seller
An attractive pair of antique oval mirrors, known as 'bull's-eye', crafted in stuccoed and gilded wood, of European manufacture.
They present an elegant oval profile with a smooth frame and a pearlized outline, topped with a small decorative ornament, characteristic of this type of frame. The gold retains a beautiful original patina, with natural wear that adds character and authenticity to the pieces.
The mirrors show signs of age, with slight stains and small marks typical of the passage of time, without cracks or breaks, fully consistent with their age and highly valued in classic and eclectic decor.
They are in good overall condition, solid and stable, with minor losses and wear to the gilding, which are normal in antique objects (see photographs).
Ideal for pairing, providing light and elegance to an entryway, living room, bedroom, or hallway, or to integrate into a classic or contemporary decorative composition.
