An important seated Buddha statue on a throne from the ancient Indochinese culture, second millennium AD.
Good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the beautiful antique patina has been preserved. Signs of use and age-related marks on the surface.
Purchased in the mid-1990s in Bangkok, Thailand, by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
