Martell - Cordon Rubis - b. 1980s - 70cl

This cognac is made from grapes from the Cognac region, more precisely from the vineyards of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, two terroirs renowned for the quality of their grapes. Cordon Rubis is distilled in copper stills using traditional methods, before being aged up to 40 years in French oak barrels.

The result is a cognac of great finesse and rare elegance. The nose reveals subtle aromas of candied fruits and vanilla, accompanied by a slight touch of wood. On the palate, the fruit notes become more present, with flavors of apricot and fig, ending with a persistent and delicate finish.

The Martell Cognac Cordon Rubis is also distinguished by its intense ruby color, which reminds the color of some precious stones. This color is obtained thanks to the prolonged aging of the cognac
