Description from the seller
Very nice Canon EX Auto QL camera with Canon EX f/3.5/125mm and Canon EX f/1.8/50mm lenses.
This is basically a kind of hybrid camera with a fixed-lens body that is attached, and where the user can screw in several add-on lenses.
The QL indicator, visible just below the self-timer, stands for Quick Load, which means that this camera is designed for easy and smooth film loading, with no hassle for the user.
There are two particularly beautiful lenses in this lot: the 50mm and the less commonly occurring 125mm.
Camera was produced in 1969 and has serial number: 176820
The standard f/1.8/50mm has serial number: 275455
The telephoto lens f/3.5/125 has serial number: 51560
All shutter speeds work well, including the B setting.
The light meter works with a PX 625 battery or LR44 with adapter. (battery included)
On the left side of the top plate there is a rewind lever with a surrounding dial on which the aperture can be set from f/1.8 up to f/16. If this dial is set to the double red EE position, the camera operates automatically and the camera will automatically select an aperture based on the self-set shutter speed.
The glass of the two lenses is in beautiful, pristine condition.
To be honest, when the f3.5/125mm is mounted on the camera I cannot focus the lens. Only when I get very close to the subject to be photographed (about 20 cm) can I focus. I have absolutely no idea why this happens, which is why I am including this f3.5/125mm with both lens caps, the accompanying hood, and the leather carrying tube FOR FREE with the purchase/auction of the EX camera with the f1.8/50mm lens. Because with the 50mm lens focusing is possible without any problems.
Collect a worthy device that should not be missing from your collection of classic cameras.
It will be very securely packed and shipped with a Track & Trace number and insurance.
NOTE:
I always ship my goods with a Track & Trace number and insurance, due to potential damage and theft.
Please note that for these reasons, shipping costs may be somewhat higher.
Anyone who cannot agree with this is also kindly asked not to place any bids.
Thank you in advance.
