Description:
Detailed anatomical teaching model of the human foot and ankle, made of plastic with a realistic depiction of bone structures and tendons. The model shows, among other things, the tibia, fibula, ankle bones, midfoot and toes, with a clear representation of the surrounding tendon and muscle structures.
At the top, cross-sections of the bone are visible, intended to reveal the internal bone structure. The model is mounted on a stable stand and is partly disassemblable, as is common with teaching models.
Provenance and dating:
Unbranded educational model, presumably produced in Europe, dating from around the late 20th century (circa 1980–1990). This type was widely used in educational institutions and medical training.
Condition
In good used condition, appropriate for its age and use.
