Description from the seller
Offered is a classic Zenit EM, a robust 35mm SLR camera produced by the KMZ plant near Moscow, USSR. The Zenit EM is an evolution of the famous Zenit-E, featuring an improved "automatic" diaphragm mechanism that allows the lens to stay wide open for focusing until the shutter is released. Known for its simple, all-mechanical construction, this camera remains a favorite for students and enthusiasts of vintage Soviet photography.
This camera is paired with the legendary Helios-44M 58mm f/2 lens. Based on the Zeiss Biotar formula, this lens is world-renowned for its "swirly bokeh" and unique character, making it one of the most sought-after vintage lenses for creative photography.
