Description from the seller
Minolta Minoltaflex Automat TLR (1939) – Asahi Promar 75mm f/3.5 – Pre-war Japanese Vintage Camera
Minolta Minoltaflex Automat (1939)
A rare pre-war Japanese twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera, released in 1939. This model is historically important as it represents Minolta’s early TLR development during a period when materials and manufacturing were becoming increasingly restricted.
It features a crank advance with automatic film stop and self-cocking mechanism (Automat name), while film loading is the classic red-window system.
The lens is the well-known Asahi Kogaku (today: Ricoh Imaging) Promar 75mm f/3.5, a beautiful piece of Japanese optical history.
