Description from the seller

This hand mirror has a raised boss with concentric circles and on the reverse of the smooth surface. The mirror could very possibly be from the earlier Kediri Kingdom which was a Hindu Buddhist Javanese kingdom centred in the ancient city Dahanapura (Daha) East Java from 1042 to around 1222. It is to be enjoyed as a nice historical pieces of ancient Indonesian history. It was excavated in an area of the former Majapahit Empire in Eastern Java. Many bronze artefacts are incidental finds by farmers agricultural activities – or unearthed by diggers who dig pits panning the alluvial soil for gold.

Handle 95 x 75 x 5 mm and weigth: 151 gram
