Description from the seller
Large postmodern wall clock, datable to the late 1980s to early 1990s, characterized by a strong graphic and architectural imprint. The object presents itself as a true mural piece: a rigorous geometric composition in which the dial is integrated into an abstract design made of chromatic arches and perspective planes, with clear references to the language of Italian postmodernism and the visual culture of the era. The panel graphic uses a period-typical palette (red, orange, yellow, turquoise, grays), balancing color and geometry in a balanced and recognizable way. The minimalist black hands dialogue with the composition without overpowering it, reinforcing the idea of an object halfway between functional design and wall art. The square black rubber frame surrounding the entire composition emphasizes its stage presence and makes it suitable for both domestic interiors and professional spaces or collections of modern design items. The model is often associated in the design market with Italian productions of the era; traceable as shown in the bottom corner of the Proditus collection. Good overall condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with the age of the item. Graphics well preserved. Battery-powered. No power reserve.
