Description
Elegant Italian oval extendable table, made in the first decades of the 20th century (circa 1900–1930), inspired by the historical models of the Louis-Philippe / Umbertino style.
The table features a lateral drop-leaf that can be unfolded to increase the available surface, making it suitable for everyday use as well as social occasions.
The structure is solid and well-proportioned, with turned legs in solid wood and central reinforcements that guarantee stability even with the table open.
The construction shows high-quality artisanal workmanship, typical of early 20th-century Italian furniture.

Original iron hardware
Conditions
Good overall condition, consistent with the age of the furniture.
There are normal signs of wear and patina from age, in particular:
Reading opacities and halos on the plane.
Superficial signs on the lower side.
minor signs of wear on the hardware.
The table is structurally stable and the opening mechanism is functioning.
Not recently restored.
