This newly woven Tülü rug comes from a special craft project dedicated to reviving traditional Anatolian knotted carpets. The goal of this project is to re-create old techniques, materials, and patterns in a contemporary form.

The rug was completely hand-knotted. The wool used is hand-spun, the long, glossy pile sections were embroidered with Angora goat hair. All colors come from natural dyes, which gives the rug a warm, vibrant, and authentic appearance.

Tülü Rugs are traditionally known as sleep and warmth rugs. Through their soft, long pile they offer high comfort and combine functionality with timeless aesthetics. This piece is a pretty, handmade one-of-a-kind item that looks superb in both modern and classic interiors.
