Vintage Japanese Yanagiba Knives – Set of 3

Traditional Single-Bevel Sashimi Knives, Signed Blades

This listing features three vintage Japanese yanagiba (sashimi) knives, each crafted in the traditional Japanese manner with a single-bevel blade. These knives were originally intended for professional use in Japanese cuisine and reflect the practical craftsmanship of their era.

Blade Signatures (from left to right):

Left knife: Signed, but only the final character 「作」 (saku / made by) is legible. The preceding characters have faded and are no longer readable.

Center knife: Clearly signed 「登録 藤吉郎作」 (Registered, made by Fujikichirō).

Right knife: Signed 「堺重彦」 (Sakai Shigehiko).
The wooden handle is also branded with a burned-in stamp “堺重彦”, confirming authenticity.
