Madagascar agate – polished free-form
Natural agate specimen from Madagascar, worked in freeform and hand-polished to highlight the stone's chromatic complexity and internal structure.
The body shows a rich mix of warm tones of ochre, honey, amber, and rust, interspersed with milky and translucent areas typical of silica agates formed by the subsequent deposition of quartz microcrystals.
The polishing highlights irregular inclusions, fluid laminations, and semi-opaque areas, direct testimony of the geological processes that gave rise to the material. The base is cut stable, making the specimen suitable for both vertical display and as a decorative collectible.
Each piece is unique, featuring one-of-a-kind natural patterns, valued for ornamental use, for collection, or as a decorative object in a natural and mineralogical style.
