P. Tavernier - Candlestick - Copper - Insulated card holder

Large stylized candlestick holder with a depiction of a clerical servant.
Very nice condition and very detailed presentation, with at the top the motto 'BRUGGE DIE SCHOONE,' which means 'BRUGES, THE BEAUTIFUL'.
On the left you also have the well-known Halletoren on the Markt in Bruges and the image of a clerical servant with a holy statue in hand at the center.

In front of the tub, one can place a single candle, for which the drip cap can be removed.

Engravings have been applied around the front and sides for lavish decoration.

The whole piece was created by P. Tavernier, Brugge, and is also signed there and displayed in the gallery.

This piece undoubtedly comes from a church building located in Bruges.
