Splendid oval-shaped coffee table, crafted in full Louis XVI style. This piece of furniture stands out for the refinement of its lines and the quality of its materials, ideal for classical environments or to lend a touch of prestige to modern interiors.
Constructive and Artistic Details:
• Piano: The table is topped with a magnificent slab of polychrome marble (probably Breccia or Castelpoggio marble), characterized by natural veining in earth tones, gray, and pink, making each piece unique. The marble is set in an ivory-colored, fluted frame that enhances its perimeter.
• Ornaments and carvings: the lower fascia is richly decorated with a carved Greek key motif and gilded floral friezes, which create an elegant color contrast with the grey-ivory finish of the structure (decapé lacquer).
• Supports: The piece rests on four columnar, tapered and fluted legs, typical of neoclassical aesthetics, linked by an X-shaped curved crosspiece, centered by a pinecone or floral motif.
