Original manuscript - 14th century - vellum - 14 x 10.5 cm.

Condition: although over 600 years old, the condition is good; the parchment is somewhat worn and, with respect to the text, there are small holes, and the ink has affected the parchment. In the large initial L the parchment is torn, and the L is also slightly damaged.

This 14th-century manuscript leaf comes from a Latin Breviary written in France. The text is written in two different colors and typefaces. One of the initials is particularly elaborately decorated and gilded.
