Oval solid walnut table – Charles X style (circa 1820-1830)

Refined oval center or drawing-room table, made in solid walnut and attributable to the Carlo X period. The top, with its harmonious oval shape, features a glossy finish that enhances the warm, deep grain of the walnut, with a shaped edge and a slightly projecting profile.

The structure is supported by a substantial turned central shaft, which widens at the base into four carved legs with scroll motifs and acanthus leaves, perfectly in line with the decorative taste of the early nineteenth century. The curved feet, crafted with great skill, provide stability and a strong visual impact.

The table is in good structural and cosmetic condition, with a few small restorations carried out in keeping with the original patina, aimed at preserving the piece's solidity and aesthetics without altering its historic character. There are normal signs of wear consistent with its age, which attest to its authenticity and charm.
