Specimen: Native Copper (Cu); a solid sphere of pure copper with a 50 mm diameter, weighing 600 g, from selected mines in the Western United States (Michigan, United States).
Description from the seller
Copper is one of the few metals found in nature in its native state, meaning it is not combined with other elements.
This sphere is made of pure, natural copper, extracted from select mines in the western United States, one of the most iconic regions for copper mining since the 19th century. Its appearance is unmistakably that of solid copper: a warm metallic surface with shades ranging from orange-red to golden brown, crossed by tiny natural creases that reveal its handcrafted craftsmanship.
Each sphere is crafted from a solid block and polished to maintain the metal's natural brilliance, while revealing the minimal typical imperfections.
Copper has always been considered a sacred metal.
Associated with Venus, love, and harmony.
Stimulates the flow of energy, promoting the connection between body and spirit.
It is said to absorb negativity, acting as a shield for the aura.
Also used for balancing the chakras, particularly the second (sacral) and fourth (heart) chakras.
In tradition, copper was used to craft ritual instruments, amulets, water cups, and protective objects. Even today, it is employed in grounding practices and for contact with the Earth's energy.
Copper is an excellent conductor of energy, both electrical and symbolic, and is also used in the construction of therapeutic pyramids and radionics circuits.
Its color changes slowly over time: in humid environments, it can develop a natural greenish patina (oxidized copper or 'copper green'), but it can be polished to restore its shine as if freshly forged.
This sphere can be used as a collectible or meditation object, part of a pure metals collection, or even as a stress-relief tool: holding a copper sphere in your hand stimulates the palm and the meridians.
Origin: selected mines, Western United States
Composition: natural copper
Diameter: 50 mm
Weight: 600 g.
