Vintage coffee table from the mid-20th century with a solid teak base and a thick clear glass top in a Scandinavian design, dating to circa 1950–1960, in good vintage condition with light signs of use on wood and glass.
Description from the seller
Elegant vintage coffee table from the mid-20th century, featuring a solid teak wooden base and a thick, clear glass top with rounded corners. The design is characterized by the slender, gently curved legs and the integrated wooden shelf, which give it a light yet solid appearance.
The glass is original and lies loose on the wooden uprights, as is typical for designs from this period. In the glass there are small, evenly spaced pits visible, consistent with the production process of that time and not indicative of later damage. The glass shows light signs of wear and a few superficial scratches, in keeping with its age.
The teak wood is in good vintage condition, with a nice warm color and visible grain. There are light signs of wear and small scratches, consistent with normal use and the age of the piece. Structurally, the table is sturdy and stable.
A characterful table that fits well within a mid-century modern, Scandinavian, or timeless interior.
