Description from the seller

Antique original ceramic cocoa pot, chocolate can.
Handmade in Germany between 1900-1919, marked on the bottom.
Kan is by Neureuther Keramik, with a glossy finish still in good condition for its age.

Neureuther Ceramics refers to the historic Art Nouveau ceramics designed by the influential German ceramicist Christian Neureuther (1868–1921), primarily for the Wächtersbacher Steingutfabriken.
The designs by Christian Neureuther are known for their pronounced Art Nouveau style, which strongly contributed to the identity of Wächtersbach's art department around the turn of the century (c. 1890–1910).
Ceramics are characterized by stylized, often geometric or floral patterns and decorative curved lines.
Neureuther often used vibrant color combinations, such as cobalt blue, emerald green, orange, and brown, often with black borders or details.
The pieces are usually made of stoneware (Steingut) with a glossy glaze, often with a fine craquelé effect in the glaze.
Products: It comprises a wide range of items, including vases, bowls, jugs, teapots, and trays, both utilitarian and decorative.
