Knife rest (12) - Crystal - 12 Geubels knife rests

A set of twelve crystal knife rests in Art Deco style.

Made of clear, faceted-cut crystal, dating from circa 1920–1930.

The knife rests have a rectangular, angular middle section and pointed ends.
They are supplied in the original case, with the label 'I. Geubels Groningen Den Haag'.

The case shows signs of use consistent with its age.

Knife rests are used to keep the tablecloth clean by allowing the blade of a used knife to rest on them.
