Tamron 17mm f3.5 per Nikon Analogue camera

For sale: the Tamron SP 17mm f/3.5 (model 51B), a high-end vintage ultra-wide angle (SP - Super Performance series) introduced in 1979. This lens stands out for its incredible 104° field of view on full-frame format, with exceptionally corrected rectilinear distortion for its era.

the model 51b is the first version, easily recognizable by the presence of built-in colored filters (skylight 1a, yellow y2, red r60, blue 80b) selectable via a rotating ring, a brilliant feature for black-and-white photography. built entirely in metal and glass (optical scheme of 12 elements in 10 groups), it is as solid as a tank. it uses the interchangeable Tamron Adaptall-2 mounting system, which makes it compatible with practically any SLR system (Nikon, Canon FD, Pentax, Olympus, etc.) or modern mirrorless via a simple adapter. the front lens is very protruding, but is partially protected by the fixed barrel; it accepts dedicated hooding that also doubles as 82mm filter holders. included lens with original Tamron caps as shown in the images
