TOgt Massa Artikelen Dordrecht was/were the brand name for these products.
The Van der Togt brothers began in 1923 in an attic room in Dordrecht.
to work with a small pair of pliers and wire. Picture hooks were the first product.
In 1926 they received a large order from the department store DE HEMA,
In 1934 they had a factory built in Zwijndrecht.
After that it really took off; the many products were a great success!
The vision of TOMADO was: to produce mass-market products for everyone,
easy to produce from cheap material (iron wire).
Later this iron wire was also plastic-coated.
