18th‑century Chinese export porcelain plate from Jingdezhen, Qianlong period, Qing Dynasty, diameter 22 cm, depth 3 cm, weight 130 g, kaolien porcelain with underglaze blue Flower Basket and floral cartouche decor, provenance Privécollectie, in good used condition with light signs of age.

Exceptionally refined and lightweight Chinese export porcelain plate. Hand-painted in underglaze blue. Produced in Jingdezhen during the Qianlong period (Qing Dynasty, 18th century).

Central plain with a flower basket; border with 8 floral panels (cartouches). Rear side decorated with 3 floral sprays.
Quality: Very thin-walled and translucent porcelain.
Authenticity:
The glaze shows the typical pinpricks (pinholes) that come from wood-fired kilns of that period (see photos), and the reverse is decorated with blue flower sprigs, which is characteristic of 18th-century export porcelain.
