Description from the seller

Carriage Clock Alarm

Early 20th-century clock (estimated period 1920–1930). It is a carriage clock with an alarm, housed in a decorative wooden case.
The clock case is made of repousé brass on the front, with glass panels and an articulated handle. It comes with its original key. The dial with Arabic numerals features a seconds hand and the dial to set the alarm time. The bell and hammer are housed at the bottom of the clock. Combining a seconds hand and an alarm in a clock from the early 20th century was high technology.

The clock WORKS, both the alarm clock and the clock itself. It is extraordinary that it works given its age. The power reserve is 1 day. I have a video showing the operation of the Clock-Alarm. It shows signs of wear on its case due to time, in line with its age, as is normal.

In addition, the clock comes with its decorative wooden box. This is very uncommon. Usually the wooden box is lost over time. That it has been preserved and is in good condition is extraordinary.
The watch is placed into the box, with its dial visible.

The dimensions are 21 cm high, 20 cm wide and 17 cm deep.

It will be shipped in suitable packaging to protect it during transport, using CATAWIKI's smart shipping service.
