Description from the seller
Germany. 10 Pfennig. 1921.
- Value: 10 Pfennig.
Year: 1921.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: DEUTSCHES REICH with the German imperial eagle with outstretched wings. Reverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 10 PFENNIG · 1921.
- Rating: MS64 (NGC).
Zinc coin issued during the early years of the Weimar Republic, with a design showing clear continuity with the imperial era despite the absence of a monarchy. The obverse features the heraldic-style German eagle, with good detail in the wings and the central shield, adapted to the technical limitations of the base metal. The reverse shows the face value in a large, easily legible size, surrounded by sober, functional typography. The specimen preserves uniform surfaces, good relief for the type, and a homogeneous dark gray tone characteristic of well-preserved zinc, with minimal visible marks and excellent definition in line with its high degree of preservation.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
