Special & beloved Teke Buchara, large & impressive rug full of stories - semi-antique and in good condition
Professionally cleaned*
-- approx. 560,000 knots per m² (!!!)
- With Certificate

Entry into our warehouse, cleaned at a laundry specializing in hand-knotted rugs, and subsequently no longer used.

This is a hand-knotted Oriental rug, made from sustainable, natural materials. The knotting technique and the diversity of patterns make this rug a unique piece and emphasize its authentic and artisanal character.
This is an excellent use floor covering with an extremely long lifespan.

This is a lightly used, cleaned carpet that can be laid out as is. A remarkable and cherished rug, a very finely knotted masterpiece. Hand-knotted in Turkmenistan by the Teke tribe. Comparable to the better-known Yomut, but even more exclusive. This Teke tribe did not knot rugs as often as the larger Yomut tribes. As such, it is rarer and full of stories, open to one's own interpretation. A great rug made of 100% wool, hand-knotted sometime between 1930 and 1950 and still in remarkably good condition for its age.

Main color: Red
Accent colors: cream and brown and blue shades.
Details: Rich abrash (intrinsic natural color variations); Many hues; Beautiful, clean and fresh; Gorgeous sheen; Depending on the viewing angle this rug has a lighter and a darker side; A rare object; Finely knotted; Large & impressive rug full of stories; 100% wool.
Signs of wear: Minimal, barely visible signs of wear, unavoidable with garments of this age.
