Description from the seller
On offer is this used Roco BR VT 11.5 catlogue number 14183A for AC layouts. The railcar is in reasonable condition.
1 x It is fitted with a decoder which according to the packing is a Zimo unit
2 x The railcar has been tested and it drove forward and in reverse without problem
3 x All couplings are in place
4 x No windows are cracked.
5 x The lights have not been connected to the decoder and so do not work
6 x There is a small melt on the plastic over one door of one coach ( probably soldering iron)
7 x The railcar comes in its original box
8 x The railcar comes with original documentation.
N.B. this railcar is not from my personal collection. It was part of a selection of Marklin items that I acquired. When it was delivered to me I examined it and noticed that the digital conversion was not completed. The railcar runs under digital control. The lights of the railcar were not connected to the decoder and there is evidence that when the conversion was being done an attempt was made to install an alternative form of lighting. The analogue driving lights are present and work but do not shine through because they are covered with glue on the inside.
