Ceramic sculpture with polychrome decoration, gold trim, depicting the bust of a young woman holding a child in her arms, dressed in Sardinian traditional attire.
The model fits into the line of figures in Regional Costumes developed by the Lenci manufactory in the 1930s, and continued after the war by some of its 'secessionists,' including Giovanni Ronzan, with a language progressively oriented toward a refined decorative taste, less stylized and more realistic and expressive. Production mark at the base. Italy (Bassano del Grappa) 1950s-1960s.
