Description from the seller

Antique riding crop dating to the early 20th century, featuring a finely carved natural antler handle in a classic crook form. The handle displays attractive natural grain and decorative carved detailing along the inner curve, giving it both tactile comfort and strong visual appeal.

The shaft is made of polished bamboo with visible natural nodes and a warm honey tone, typical of quality riding crops from the Edwardian period. The handle is mounted with a metal collar (nickel or brass tone), providing both reinforcement and an elegant transition between handle and shaft.

At the tip, the crop retains its original leather flapper (lash), hand-stitched and riveted, showing clear signs of age and use, which add to the authentic antique character of the piece.

Such riding crops were traditionally used for horseback riding and hunting, and today are sought after by collectors of equestrian antiques, country house décor, and period accessories.
