Magnificent head of a colossal statue in the Greek imperial style. A museum-quality archaeological reproduction, a prime example of a synthesis between the classical sculptural tradition and contemporary craftsmanship, with creative undertones that continually evoke antiquity.
Technical features
Piece molded using the lime stone technique with a lime-plaster finish in water-green tones and pigment aging. (ArtSolutionsTheming, Spain)
A durable material with heft and beauty, which depicts a masculine figure with a touch of Alexander the Great.
The object is supported on a wrought-iron pedestal that is carried by a mast-like support acting as a pivot (360°) allowing it to rotate to view each of its sides. Provenance: ATS workshops, Morón de la Frontera, Spain. UNESCO 2012.
