1/2 Mark silver coin minted in Stuttgart during the final period of the German Empire, in the midst of the First World War. The obverse displays the face value in a balanced composition, surrounded by a finely detailed botanical wreath, with full relief and excellent definition in the leaves and fruits. The reverse presents the imperial eagle crowned with a heraldic character, with notable detail in the plumage, the crown, and the central shield. The specimen retains an original, very attractive lustre, partially covered by a light and uniform patina, with clean fields and minimal handling marks, giving it a striking presence and in keeping with a high degree of preservation.
