Description from the seller
Chinon CM-4 for sale, a 35mm SLR that is fully manual and mechanical, produced in Japan starting in 1980. It is a compact and rugged camera, appreciated for its simplicity and reliability, often compared in build quality to the Pentax of the era (such as the MX or the K1000).
The CM-4 uses the Pentax K bayonet mount (PK mount), making it compatible with the vast Pentax lens lineup. It features a mechanical Seiko shutter on the focal plane with speeds from 1s to 1/1000s plus bulb, and flash synchronization at 1/60s. The TTL center-weighted metering is simple and effective, with a 3-LED indicator in the viewfinder (overexposure, correct exposure, underexposure), powered by two common LR44/SR44 batteries. The unit is equipped with its standard Auto Chinon 50mm f/1.9 lens, a decent and sharp optic, ideal to start with. It also includes a self-timer and provisions for a motorized winder. Included is the Chinon CM-4 camera with the 50mm f/1.9 lens as shown in the pictures.
