Description from the seller
An oval-shaped decorative plate in a heavy metal alloy; it could be bronze, although the color is a bit tawny and somewhat yellowish. On it are depicted scenes of a hunt. The central element is a heraldic shield showing two rampant lions under a crown, framed by laurel and foliage. Around this shield are four allegorical female figures inset in garlands, each representing symbolic realms such as agriculture, music, abundance, and devotion. The condition shows some superficial wear, but all the figures remain clearly visible given the relief. Dimensions: 36 x 27 x 3 cm; weight: 650 g.
