Description from the seller
Space Age design for the kitchen.
TERRAILLON 4000... the upgrade of the Terraillon 2000
Stylish, functional, compact, space-saving, stylish and climate-neutral in operation. No batteries or power outlet needed.
The scale shown is a mechanical kitchen scale. Designed by architects Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper for Terraillon between 1969 and 1971. Over the years this scale has evolved into a design icon and is, among other places, exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Marco Zanuso was also the designer of the legendary Brionvega, Kartell and Grillo telephones.
TERRAILLON 4000 impresses with its Space Age design made of plastic, with a maximum weighing range of 4 kg.
The transparent hood (smoked glass look, brown) can be used as a weighing bowl. The smaller lower bowl (here in yellow) also serves as a weighing bowl. The weight is read via a plastic prism. Tara is adjustable via a wheel on the housing.
Height 12 cm / 4.7', Width 17 cm / 6.7', Length 11 cm / 4.3'.
Color: yellow, cream, transparent brown.
Condition: flawless and functional, only minimal signs of use. Due to UV exposure the cream-colored plastic has darkened over time. Otherwise the housing and bowls shine in high gloss. The line on the lid is production-related, NO hairline crack!
All information is provided to the best of our knowledge and belief. Please view the attached photos. Any flaws are marked. Color deviations from photo to original may occur. Usage and/or storage marks are not to be excluded due to age.
Given the circumstances:
If, despite careful packaging, your lot arrives damaged, please have the transport damage confirmed in writing by your carrier immediately and take detailed photos.
According to EU law for courier companies, in the case of damaged international shipments the recipient must report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receipt. Only after the recipient (you) has received a damage certificate can I as the sender claim compensation. Please do not offer if you do not accept this.
