Unique find!
From Toni Riick, a very artistic handmade silver brooch with beautiful beads of cognac-colored barstone and butterscotch, made at the beginning of the 1930s of the last century. (Bauhaus Era)
This brooch may have been designed and made by her herself—beautiful craftsmanship and top quality!
Stamped RS by Riick Schmück and 835 silver fineness.
Brooch size: 70 mm L. x 45 mm W.
Pieces of amber are on average 1 cm in diameter.
Weight: 8.97 grams.

TONI RIICK (1891-1972) Born in Dorpat, Estonia.
After living in Paris for a short time, she returned to Ludwigsburg in 1930, where she founded the Riik Schmück Werkstätte.
She manufactured and designed there new filigree modernist jewelry based on old Scandinavian circles and spiral jewelry.
Riick described these pieces of jewelry as “Rungholt jewelry.”
In 1939, the goldsmith studio Adolf Regelmann in Stuttgart bought the exclusive right to manufacture the “Rungholt jewelry.”
Toni Riick died in 1972 in Winnenden, Germany.
