A remarkable piece of craftsmanship, this traditional African drum has been repurposed to become an original and decorative storage item.
Made from a cylinder covered with natural cowhide fur (mahogany brown flecked with white) and hand-tied with hemp rope in a diamond pattern evoking the tensioning techniques of African percussion, this drum hides two invisible side drawers within its flank, with discreet handles.
A true conversation piece, it combines traditional musical form with practical function, perfect in an eclectic, bohemian, or ethnic interior.
