Description from the seller
Two pseudoscorpions are simultaneously preserved in Burmese amber, with clear detail.
Burmese amber, also known as Burmite, is a fossilized tree resin primarily found in the Hukawng Valley of Myanmar. It is renowned for its exceptional ability to preserve ancient life forms, including insects, plants, and other organisms often trapped within it. This amber is estimated to be around 99 million years old, dating back to the Cretaceous period (long before the appearance of Tyrannosaurus rex!). It has a rich golden color with reddish-brown tones and high transparency, making it highly valued by collectors and scientists, providing us with a rare window into prehistoric ecosystems.
We use PE boxes to store each piece of amber, ensuring its safety and ease of collection.
