Traditional Hand-Forged Blades with Signed Makers (Japan)
This auction features a curated set of four vintage traditional Japanese Deba knives, all bearing authentic maker’s marks, representing regional craftsmanship and professional-use kitchen tools from Japan.
Deba knives are single-bevel blades traditionally used for fish preparation, valued for their weight, edge retention, and robust construction. These knives were clearly working tools, showing honest age and patina consistent with long-term professional use.
